Dr. Adkins received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Minnesota and her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her residency at the University of Texas and is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Academy of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. She has a special interest in obesity and bariatric surgery and how it relates to women’s healthcare. She also divides her time between her practice and her family, which includes a young son.
