Dr. Dyson earned his Ph.D at the University of Illinois and was a tenured associate professor of Biochemistry and Biophysics at Oregon State University, where he authored two widely-used textbooks and numerous scientific articles. His M.D. degree and residency were at Oregon Health and Sciences University. Dr. Dyson is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the North American Menopause Society.
